great job! now criminals around the world know how to beat up cops when they are about to be put in hand cuffs!

i think kung fu is an effective self defense martial arts, but only when you’re a master, so it has to pass like 15 years of training so you can defend your self on a real situation

        • pittsburgh73986 says:

it beats getting ur ass kicked thats for sure lol

        • KillaGorilla13 says:

you can sub out that finisher punch for a “cop style” takedown. That being bringing your crossing arm to control their bicep then a knee of the arm if you feel neccesary as u bring them down.

I know because BJJ is the l33t MA and PWNZ0rs all others !! Even God has a Black Belt in BJJ . Gimem a break, these guys yes, are showing poor techniques, but this in no way is a good example of Kung Fu. School yourself first fanboy.

        • nisher15 says:

rupture their eardrum and umm….. break your knuckles

        • whitedragonfly says:

omg this kung-fu bullshit is pointless. i love watching this in comparison to BJJ.

I personally would have head butt them straight to the face with the back of my head. lol

I prefer the way that I learned it. You step back with one foot so that you’re closer towards them, bring your open palm up in a circle, brushing your ribs, and snap out of the grab. You elbow them, and then you can either turn around into an armbar or do ippon or ogoshi.

        • yingyang264 says:

25 seconds in –I’d shatter his elbow with a right hand palm strike, using the left hand to maintain control

          malicedarkone,
You’re right on the first point.Have you seen the vids for Norton Dojo? The second point I can’t comment on, not having seen any Ninjitsu.

        • viper4513 says:

The point they are trying to make after you turn to break your wrist free is. the opponent wont be expecting you to do that if you do it quick enough.. then when you grab there other wrist they will be in more shock to no what to do and either struggle. or tense for the incoming kick.. that they may also not expect. If someone in the streets was to grab your wrist.. would they really expect you to fight back if you where a say. 5 foot 6 woman with no real muscle definition ?

        • MudBath99 says:

im disapointed in this one when someone grabs your wrist your arm cant move i say a simple heel to the balls then there naturual reaction is to bend down then knee to the face there naturual reaction is to go up if you do it strong then punch to the guy and then thell bend down and push them down and run

        • kitkatgemini says:

after i step out.. wat if i cant break-away?:S.. shite:P

        • anthonyr1 says:

among other things, a punch to the ear will do more than rupture the ear drum..it could kill your opponent….and thats not something you want to deal with..but anyhow you train much the same way I do at my school do a move to stop the attack no matter what..so in a strange way I suppose I’m attempting to give you props…props guys nice vid and nice.somewhat overcomplex technique…but s’all good :)

        • plab1405 says:

after the punch to the face id do an arm-bar, prob one of my favorite submission moves

        • wouter121312 says:

yea and what if he holds you very strong :~S

        • sheps08 says:

get yourself built like a brick shit house and get some self defence training there sorted!

        • sheps08 says:

if you keep fit and healthy and have some form of fighting technique u will know that if u get into a fight and sum1 for example throws a punch at u u will if taught properly revert straight back to ur training.this is true because military personnel always say in their books how the remembered their traning which helped them stay alive. point proven!

        • malicedarkone says:

“streetfighting” isnt a form of self-defence. Its a mixture of undisciplined fighting and ignorance. Most martial arts aren’t effective in a real fight. But if you take someone who is well trained in say Ninjitsu for example, then they stand (in most cases) a better chance then their opponent. They not only know how to fight, but they understand the mechanics and concepts behind it.

        • Alucardnotpip says:

You would be suprised what a judo/jiujitsu man could do. Not going to get into street fighting. Most people who learn martial arts in western countries aren’t taught to fight any-ways. They are taught the moves andif someone does “This” Certain way, you do “this” a certain way.

        • tornupletters88 says:

the best for of self defence believe it or not is street fighting coz u find that most people ddont fight with martial arts most martial arts have to be used against th same martial art…however its better than having no knowledge of martial arts whatsoever..
